Events

Elected and appointed officials, department heads and employees, want your event to be a successful experience within our municipality. We may be able to help in facilitating your plans and encourage your contact with us.

Assistance

Citizens, community organizations, businesses, school organizations and other governmental entities are encouraged to contact the Clerk-Treasurer for assistance in planning or scheduling an event.

A few events require the approval of the Village Board. We request a letter to the Mayor and Board of Trustees by the Thursday prior to each scheduled Village Board meeting. Events requiring Village Board approval include street closings, parades and requests contrary to Village local laws and codes.

In some situations the Mayor, and/or Manager of Police Operations, are authorized to make exceptions for your event. However, to be sure you will receive event approval, contact the Clerk-Treasurer for any clarification during regular office hours.

Calendar

Many events occur during the course of a month within the village. If you wish your event posted on this web site contact the Clerk-Treasurer. As a matter of policy we post events for a one-year period to reflect the activities throughout the calendar year.
