Update from Supervisor Hallock
10-23-06
The Town still remains in a State of Emergency and a Travel Advisory is still in effect. Please watch for branches, especially at intersections and curves in the roads. Be aware that emergency crews continue to work in Clarence.
The Highway Department, with help from the NYS DOT, will be clearing the brush until the entire town is clear, weather permitting. Brush should not be placed on the roads or placed where it could block fire hydrants, gas meters, phone boxes, etc. Brush should be parallel to the road, adjacent to the road, not in it. Other debris should not be included in the brush piles. Town crews will be working from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm.
We believe that everyone in the town has had their power restored. If you do not have power, call the Supervisor's office at 741-8930 and NYSEG at 1-800-572-1131.
Once again thank you for your patience as work on the storm continues.
