Western New York, including the Town of Clarence, was declared a Major Disaster area by President Bush. The declaration will make additional Federal Assistance available to Erie, Niagara, Genesee and Orleans counties. That aid may include grants to help cover the costs of temporary housing, home repairs and other cleanup efforts. First contact your own insurance company for direction and then call 1-800-621-FEMA.
