The Fire Safety Division supports each of the County's 94 volunteer fire departments, and three career fire departments. The Fire Safety Office manages the Emergency Services Training & Operations Center in Cheektowaga and two other field training centers in Amherst and Orchard Park where some 4,000 fire fighters annually receive training.
