Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul Announces New Eastern Hills Mall Auto Bureau

Satellite to Open Monday March 16th With 10am Ribbon Cutting.

Last Day for Auto Bureau Services at E.C.C. North, Clarence Mobile is Friday March 13th.

Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul announces the Grand Opening of the new Eastern Hills Mall Auto Bureau Location is set for Monday March 16th at 10am. The new Auto Bureau will have many customer friendly amenities, and offer convenience to Erie County residents in the Northtowns and Mall shoppers. "We needed more space than we have at the ECC North location to handle the increased demand for Enhanced Driver's Licenses, without spending additional taxpayer dollars. The convenient Eastern Hills Mall location allows us to more than double our space, process the EDL's, and improve security for our existing operations" said Hochul.

Moving from the tiny ECC North Auto Bureau location will benefit the customers in a variety of ways. According to Hochul, the number of cashiers will increase from 2 to 4, they will add seating, a ticket system, and television and magazines to create a more pleasant waiting room environment. This will allow staff to handle customers more efficiently, resulting in increased revenue for Erie County.

Hochul will be joined by officials from New York State, Erie County, Clarence, Amherst, New York State DMV, and Eastern Hills Mall at the Ribbon Cutting.
