West Seneca Satellite Auto Bureau to Close May 9th
Due to a unanimous decision by the West Seneca Town Board, the West Seneca Satellite Auto Bureau office will be closed effective May 9th reported Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul.
Hochul stated that "while I regret their vote, we will abide by their decision. In a letter to the Supervisor and Town Board, Hochul thanked the Town of West Seneca for accommodating the service for the past two years.
"We have found by taking our services directly into the communities, our customers appreciate the convenience and the chance to save time and fuel cost," Hochul
pointed out.
The good news is that the Erie County Clerk's Office has been very proactive in pursuing other convenient locations in the Southtowns, without incurring commercial
leasing costs paid for by County taxpayers. "We are partnering with Erie Community College and will be opening a satellite at ECC-South in Building 7 on Monday, May 12. This will enable us to provide a full range of services Mondays through Fridays from 9am to 4:45pm. Former West Seneca customers are encouraged to visit the ECC-South location or the Cheektowaga site at Dick Road and George Urban Blvd.," Hochul concluded.
