ORCHARD PARK STUDENTS VISIT COUNTY CLERK

Students from the Orchard Park High School recently got a chance to get out of the classroom and visit the Erie County Clerks Office. Larry Goble's Personal Law Class consisting of 9-12th grade students had a personal tour by Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul to view the County Clerk's departments. "I welcomed this opportunity to meet these students and help them become more familiar with the duties of the Erie County Clerk's Office. The Clerk's office is the business center for Erie County and we process more than 2 million transactions per year." Hochul stated. Teacher Larry Goble pointed out, "It is better for my students to experience government operations for themselves than to explain it to them in a classroom setting".
