Erie County Clerk Says County Employees Can Help Earn $1.2 Million In Much Needed Money For the County
Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul encourages County Employees to join in her efforts to retain revenue for Erie County by dropping off their Vehicle Registration Renewals in the Drop Boxes located in the Lobby of the Rath Building, first floor Old County Hall and at all Auto Bureau locations. Hochul said with the help of County employees, we can help keep more than $1.2 million that Erie County is needlessly losing to Albany when drivers renew their automobile registrations on line or mail the renewal to Albany.
For employees who don't work downtown, they can go to the Erie County Clerk's Website (www.erie.gov/clerk) and click the "JUST MAIL IT" tab and simply fill in their name, address and e-mail address and they will receive a green envelope with postage paid to send their renewal form and check back to the Erie County Clerk's Office. For specific Auto Bureau questions, please call the Customer Call Center at 858-7450.
