Twitter Your Way to Shorter Lines at the Auto Bureaus

New Post Gives Real Time Updates

In an effort to better communicate with tech-savvy customers, Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul announced today that Auto Bureau "tweets" will periodically appear on www.twitter.com/ecautobureau.

The new twitter account, together with Kathy Hochul's facebook fan page uses up-to-the-minute technology to communicate with the online demographic. Using social networking as well as traditional news outlets enables the County Clerk's office to reach more people than ever, ultimately saving time for the customer.

"We are in regular contact with all seven auto bureau locations and three mobile sites, either in person, telephone or by our daily delivery staff. I know that each customer's time is valuable and now we can share information about wait times or best times to visit, or any other factors that affect the auto bureau experience--- instantly on twitter.com. It would be worth a quick look before venturing to an auto bureau just in case there is any information that will help determine where and when to visit," said Hochul.
