Frank J. Clark Erie County District Attorney
Professional Experience:
- Admitted to
practice law in state and federal courts in 1972.
- Elected to
the office of District Attorney on January 1, 1997.
- Prior to his
election, Mr. Clark served the Erie County District Attorney's
Office as its First Deputy District Attorney.
- Acted as
Chief of the Organized Crimina Drug Enforcement Task Force of
the United States Attorney's Office in the Western District of
New York for 5 years.
- Served as
Chief of the Violent Felony Bureau in the Erie County District
Attorney's office for 7 years.
Education:
- Juris Doctor
degree from State University of New York at Buffalo
- Bachelor of
Arts degree in Classical Languages from Niagara University.
Military Service:
- Served in the
United States Marine Corps from 1968 to 1971. He is a decorated
veteran of the Vietnam conflict. Honorably discharged with rank
of Captain.

extensively in the areas of criminal law and trial practice and

A-V rating, by the national attorney rating service of
Martindale-Hubbell.
Personal:
- Frank resides
in Buffalo with his wife Catherine, a Buffalo school teacher.
