Senior Services and Community Based Agencies Join to Offer Transportation for Seniors
As a service to older adults (aged 60+) in Erie County, the Department of Senior Services offers the Going Places Transportation Program.

The curb-to-curb van service is available to seniors who are unable to use conventional means of transportation.
Reservations for health-related trips may be scheduled up to two weeks in advance. Non-medical trips may be scheduled one week in advance. A brief registration is required for service.
Call 858-RIDE - 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Requests for travel outside the service area may not always be accommodated.
A suggested contribution is $2 per one-way trip or $4 per round-trip; wheelchair service is $5 per one-way trip or $10 per round-trip. Contributions are voluntary. Any amount you wish to give is greatly appreciated and will be used to expand the transportation program.
All contributions are confidential and no one will be denied service if unable to donate.
Because of the demands for senior transportation, travel may be limited to the nearest available facilities (with the exception of trips for health purposes).

Residents who find themselves without Going Places Service should call Senior Services' Information & Assistance line at 858-8526 to inquire about other options, or follow the link below.
