Departments & Offices

The offices of the Town of Lancaster are situated in various locations within the Village and Town of Lancaster.

Town Hall is located at 21 Central Avenue in the Village of Lancaster; the Supervisor, Town Clerk, Assessor, and Attorney each have offices in the Town Hall. Taxes also are paid in the Town Hall. The Building Inspector's office is located across the street from the Town Hall at 11 West Main Street. The Youth Bureau and Senior Citizen Buildings are situated in the southern end of the Village of Lancaster on Oxford Avenue off Aurora Street at Artel Metz Drive.

The Courts, Engineering, Highway, Police, Parks & Recreation Departments are located at 525 Pavement Road in the Town Center. This facility is situated on the east side of Pavement Road just north of Walden Avenue. The Dog Control Office is located at 3789 Walden Avenue which is east of Central Avenue on the south side of Walden Avenue.
