The Town of Lancaster Parks & Recreation Department’s Youth Basketball Program came to an end on Saturday, March 25 with three teams taking home the hardware. They were Syracuse (9-10 year old league), Gonzaga (11-12 year old league) and the Cavs (13-15 year old league). The results of play are as follows:
9-10 Year Old League
Syracuse 20
Kentucky 14
It was all tied up at the half, but Syracuse was too much for Kentucky as they took a 20-14 victory as well as the crown. Ryan Stelk was in double figures, scoring 10 points while Joey Hamilton added four and Matt Marinaaccio, Pat Gates and Billy Delano collected two points apiece for the win. Scoring for Kentucky were Michael Harris (nine), Daniel Kosowski (three) and Jake Dombrowski (two).

9-10 Year Old League - SYRACUSE

Georgetown 20
Kyle Wiatrowski and Steven Michel had eight and five points respectively as Gonzaga claimed a 23-20 win over Georgetown taking the 11-12 year old league title. Nike Gridlestone collected four points while Dan Damasiewicz, Nate Hutchinson and Jonathan Mann divided six points for the victory. Scoring for Georgetown were Jake Spiach, Emmett Andrusz, James Duck and Nick Krafchak with four points apiece while Ben Piatkowski and Tony Kozlowski chipped in with two points apiece.

11-12 Year Old League - GONZAGA

Cavs 39
Bulls 28
Brandon Harrison and Matt Hopkins scored 15 and 14 points respectively for the Cavs as they beat the Bulls 39-28 and took home the hardware. Chris Carr added six points while Nick Sagliani collected four points for the win. Scoring for the Bulls were Steve Moser (16) and Nick Hora (12).

13-15 Year Old League - CAVS
