Girl's Basketball Champs - Liberty

Liberty 44 Sparks 38
The Liberty took home the hardware in their 44 -38 conquest over the Sparks in the championship game. Samantha Czaplicki was in double digits leading all scorers with 16 points while Lauren Lubecki, Hannah Fish and Erica Braunschweig divided 18 points. Sara Selk netted four points and Kayla Grazen chipped in with a bucket to round out the scoring. Scoring for the Sparks were Jillian Perillo (20), Caitlyn Myszka (10), Danielle Notto (four) and Ally Luksch (four).

Florida State 37 North Carolina 23
Florida State was up by three at the half and never looked back as they took home the crown in the championship game against North Carolina 37-23. Emmet Andrusz scored 13 of his 15 points in the second half while Sam Flading and Nick Gridlestone divided 16 points and Tony Kozlowski netted four. Nathan Smith chipped in with a buck for the victory. Scoring for North Carolina were Steve Michel (14), Bob Notto (five), Jake Fikas (two) and Nate Hutchinson (two).

9-10 Boy's Basketball Champs – Kentucky

Kentucky 20 Connecticut 18
Joey Hamilton helped pave the way for the win as Kentucky beat Connecticut 20-18 and took home the hardware in the championship game. Zach Burdzy netted four points while Max Gates chipped in with a bucket for the victory. Scoring for Connecticut were Joe Preziuso (16) and Justin Jersey (two).
