Social Work Counselor Program

Our Social Work Counselor program, which is jointly sponsored by the Town of Lancaster and Lancaster Central Schools, assists in identifying and resolving emotional difficulties of youth which interfere with their attendance and adjustment in school and:

• links families with appropriate services to meet their needs
• assists parents in understanding their child's emotional and social needs

Individual and family counseling is available on a long term or short term basis:

• to develop positive interaction between youth, families, schools and community
• to help families resolve communication and discipline problems
• to provide a resource for parents with specific questions or concerns and make necessary referrals to appropriate agencies
