Erie County Legislator Timothy Wroblewski (D-West Seneca, South Cheektowaga), Chairman of the Legislature's Community Enrichment Committee, announced the Legislature's schedule for consideration and adoption of the Erie Community College (ECC) 2004 - 2005 Budget.

July 6, 2004 - 11:00AM - Community Enrichment Committee Meeting
(Location: Erie County Legislature Chambers, 92 Franklin Street, 2nd Floor Courtroom, formerly Part 6)

• Representatives from the College and the County Administration will be present to discuss the proposed budget.

July 13, 2004 - 6:00PM - ECC Budget Public Hearing
(Location: Erie Community College South Campus, Lecture Hall Room 5102, 4041 Southwestern Boulevard, Orchard Park)

• The public is invited to comment on the proposed 2004-05 ECC Budget.

July 15, 2004 - 2:00PM - Erie County Legislature Session
(Location: Erie County Legislature Chambers, 92 Franklin Street, 2nd Floor Courtroom, formerly Part 6)

• The Legislature will consider adoption of a final ECC budget document.

"ECC plays an important role in providing higher education and workforce training to those in our community," said Legislator Wroblewski. "We look forward to working with the college to see it succeed in its mission well into the future."

The 2004-2005 ECC Budget will be before the County Legislature for review and approval after it is received from the County Executive. The County Executive requested an extension beyond the June 1, 2004 deadline and filed his recommendations for the ECC budget June 30th.
