Legislator Kennedy To Host Business Development Meeting

Representatives from City and local Chamber of Commerce to Speak

Legislator Timothy M. Kennedy will host a business meeting it the South Park High School Library at 6:30PM on Monday, March 7th. He has scheduled three speakers who include Tim Wanamaker from the City’s Strategic Planning Office, Shyrl Duderweck from Neighborhood Housing Services, and Ann Enger from the Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce.

“I wanted to assemble some distinguished speakers to comment and provide insight on some of our concerns for the businesses of South Buffalo,” Kennedy said, “ These guests are a great start as we move forward with these meetings in the future. We will provide different speakers during these monthly meetings to tailor to any ideas or possible benefits we are unaware of.”

Tim Wanamaker is the Executive Director for Strategic Planning for the City of Buffalo. He will provide some input on possible funding and tax credit available for local business owners. Shyrl Duderweck represents the Neighborhood housing services and can provide information on past redevelopment plans that have been successful. Ann Enger is the Executive Director of The Greater South Buffalo Chamber of Commerce. Ann will present possible networking opportunities and benefits of the chamber, as well as, input on the mission to revitalize South Park Avenue.
