Kennedy Announces South Park Avenue Revitalization Web Site

Legislator Kennedy in partnership with NHS of South Buffalo, Inc. and its Executive Director, Sheryl Duderwick announced the creation of a web site to detail the planning and activities for the South Park Avenue Revitalization Initiative. The web site can be found at www.southparkavenue.webs.com.

Legislator Kennedy stated that the web site has been created to provide another means in which the public may keep up to date with the ongoing development concerning South Park Avenue. The site contains information regarding the meetings which were held to gather input as to what the public wanted for the commercial district. The site also provides pages which will allow the public to view the elements which will be used to improve the look and feel of the area, identify businesses along the Avenue, showcase events which are being planned, and provide an area for comments and questions to be sent.

"This is a once in a lifetime project for our area, to restore South Park Avenue to its historic grandeur and improve the vital link between the City of Buffalo and the Southtowns," Legislator Kennedy said. "This website will help residents stay linked to this project as well as help us keep a record of this important phase in the rebuilding of our future."
