LEGISLATOR KENNEDY AND COUNTY CLERK HOCHUL ANNOUNCE "PASSPORTS ON THE MOVE" AT DISTRICT OFFICE
Legislator Tim Kennedy and County Clerk Kathy Hochul are pleased to announce "Passports on the Move," an on-site passport processing program that will take place on Thursday, August 27, 2009 from 9:30am – 12pm at the Legislator's District Office, 1928 South Park Avenue, Buffalo, NY, 14220.
The County Clerk's staff will be present at this time to accept passport applications and, if necessary, take photos. Passport applications can be downloaded from www.erie.gov/clerk, or can be picked up at Legislator Kennedy's office prior to the event. For expediency, it is recommended that the applicant complete the form, bring copies of both sides of their drivers' license, birth certificate, and bring a check pre-written for the fees; however, assistance will be provided to complete these requirements both prior to and during the program.
"We are very pleased to partner with Legislator Kennedy in bringing services directly to our constituents. As a border community, it is important that every resident obtain border crossing documentation, either a passport, passport card, or an Enhanced Driver's License," said County Clerk Kathy Hochul.
"This event would not be possible were it not for the continued dedication of Erie County Clerk Kathy Hochul, whose out-of-the-box thinking has allowed services to come directly to the community we mutually represent," stated Legislator Tim Kennedy. "I look forward to our continued work together to implement progressive changes to County government."
For any questions, please contact Legislator Kennedy's District Office at 716-824-6180. Copies of the application and requirements are available at the District Office and may be picked up any time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
