Legislator Kennedy to hold free Medicare Part-D Seminar
Freshman Erie County Legislator Tim Kennedy has secured the Buffalo Irish Center for a seminar on Medicare Part-D. Legislator Kennedy, working closely with Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY, has secured Healthcare and Finance experts that will explain how the changes in Medicare Part-D will affect his constituents.
“I am happy to be able to provide such an essential service for my constituents,” Kennedy said, “Our community consists of many senior citizen’s and from day one I have worked hard to provide community outreach programs, in cooperation with county services and beyond, to assist them in every aspect of life. These are the same people who have made our community such a great place to live and raise our children and now it is our turn to give back to them.”
The seminar will be at the Buffalo Irish Center on Wednesday, October 12th at 10am.
“These changes to the Medicare Part-D program can be confusing with all of the terminology and adjacent programs,” Kennedy stated, “My goal in setting this program up was to alleviate those questions and misunderstandings so my constituents can utilize the program and other programs that work with this one to their advantage.”
There will be a free raffle giving you an opportunity to win several prizes. If you are interested in attending this important educational event please call Legislator Tim Kennedy’s office at 824-6180.
