COUNTY LEGISLATOR MILLER-WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE FOR REGULAR SESSIONS FOR 2008 LEGISLATIVE YEAR

Erie County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams (D-3rd District, Buffalo) is announcing that the County Legislature has released its schedule of regular sessions for 2008.

The schedule, with all regular sessions starting at 2 p.m., is: January 8 and 17; February 7 and 21; March 6 and 20; April 3 and 24; May 8 and 29; June 12 and 26; July 10 and 17; the Legislature is in recess except for special meetings in August; September 11 and 25; October 9 and 23; November 6 and 20, and December 4 and 18, with December 2 for approving the 2009 County budget and December 9 to consider any possible budget override votes.

Legislator Miller-Williams also reminds residents that all County Legislature sessions are open to the public and are held in the County Legislature Chambers on the Fourth Floor of 92 Franklin Street in Buffalo.
