COUNTY LEGISLATOR MILLER-WILLIAMS REAPPOINTED CHAIR OF GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

Barbara Miller-Williams M. (D-Buffalo, 3rd District) is pleased that she was recently reappointed the Chair of the Legislature's Government Affairs Committee by County Legislature Chair Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda).

This will be the second consecutive year that Legislator Miller-Williams will serve as the Government Affairs Committee Chair.

"I am pleased to reappoint Legislator Miller-Williams chair of the Government Affairs Committee. She has led the committee in dedication and hard work on issues that help make sure that county government works as effectively as possible," Legislature Chair Marinelli said.

"I am honored to receive the support of Legislature Chair Marinelli in reappointing me to continue to chair the Government Affairs Committee," Legislator Miller-Williams said. "I am committed to continuing our committee's vital work in discussing and deliberating on the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), the progress of the administration's Six Sigma application and reported savings, a whistleblower policy and the Erie County Legislature 21st Century Commission."

Legislator Miller-Williams will also serve as the vice chair of the Health and Human Services Committee and serves on the Economic Development Committee.
