LEGISLATORS GRANT, MILLER-WILLIAMS ANNOUNCE MEETING TO DISCUSS 2008 CAPITAL PROJECTS BUDGET TO BE HELD MARCH 31

Erie County Legislator Betty Jean Grant (D-Buffalo, 7th District) and County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams (D-Buffalo, 3rd District) will co-sponsor a community meeting to review the 2008 Erie County capital project budget proposed by County Executive Christopher Collins from 6-9 p.m. Monday, March 31, at the Frank E. Merriweather Library, 1324 Jefferson Avenue in Buffalo.

"This meeting will give the public and the taxpayers of Erie County an opportunity to have input on the 2008 capital project budget," Legislator Grant said. "I encourage the public to attend to voice its concerns and to offer us suggestions on what projects the county executive and County Legislators should direct the county comptroller to secure funding for in 2008."
