LEGISLATOR MILLER-WILLIAMS HONORED FOR PARTICIPATION IN BUFFALO STATE COLLEGE WONDERFUL WOMEN PROGRAM

Erie County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams (D-3rd District, Buffalo) was recently honored for taking part in the Wonderful Women of WNY program in conjunction with Buffalo State College Sociology Department and Buffalo State College Alumni Association.

As a member of the Wonderful Women of WNY program, Legislator Miller-Williams mentored a student, providing academic and career-related information and helping in assisting the student to make a successful transition from a college student to a working professional.

Legislator Miller-Williams and other participants in the Wonderful Women of WNY Program were honored art a reception May 7 at the Margaret Grant Lounge at Buffalo State College.
