LEGISLATOR MILLER-WILLIAMS ANNOUNCES INSURANCE SESSION SCHEDULED AT CENTRAL LIBRARY NOVEMBER 18

Erie County Legislator Barbara Miller-Williams (D-Buffalo, 3rd District) is announcing that the Erie County Department of Senior Services will hold an informational session on "Paying for Long Term Care and Health Insurance Information" from 9 a.m.-noon Wednesday, November 18, at the Buffalo and Erie County Central Library, 1 Lafayette Square in downtown Buffalo.

The question and answer session, with representatives from the Health Insurance Counseling and Assistance Program (HIICAP) will addresses topics such as healthy insurance, Medicare, prescription coverage, long-term insurance, health maintenance organizations (HMOs) and advantage programs. Advice in starting inline searches will also be provided.
