RANZENHOFER RE-NOMINATED AS REPUBLICAN LEADER
Erie County Legislator Michael H. Ranzenhofer (R-Clarence) was re-nominated as Erie County Legislature Republican Leader in a session of the Erie County Legislature on Thursday, January 6.
"I am honored that my colleagues have once again shown their faith in my leadership with this nomination," said Ranzenhofer. "Erie County is at a crossroads, and I look forward to tackling the challenges in front of us this year."
Based on today's vote, Ranzenhofer continues his role as Republican Leader, which began in January of 2004. Ranzenhofer also served as Republican Leader from 1993 to 1994 and as Majority Leader during 2003.
"I know that serving as leader of the Republican Caucus is an extraordinary responsibility that entails not only upholding the Republican cause, but working diligently with Legislature Democrats to move our community forward," added Ranzenhofer.
Legislator Ranzenhofer represents Erie County's 4th Legislative District, which includes the Towns of Clarence and Newstead, as well as portions of Amherst and Cheektowaga.
