Erie County Legislator Michael H. Ranzenhofer (R-Clarence) recently visited VFW Post #838 on Goodrich Road in Clarence to take a look at new refrigerators recently installed to service the veterans and auxiliary members of the Post. Legislator Ranzenhofer had previously secured $1,700 in county funding to purchase the equipment.
"VFW Post #838 is a second home to many members of our community," said Ranzenhofer. "These new refrigerators will serve our veterans and their auxiliary members for many years to come."
The refrigerators purchased for the VFW Post replace equipment that was over thirty years old, and will be used for the many functions sponsored by the veterans and their auxiliary chapter. Legislator Ranzenhofer was asked to assist with the purchase of the equipment.
"I'm pleased to have been able to help with the funding," added Ranzenhofer.
