Legislator Ranzenhofer Announces Veterans Outreach
(Clarence, New York) – Erie County Legislator Michael H. Ranzenhofer will welcome the Erie County Veterans Outreach Squad to the Clarence Public Library on June 17, 2008. This program, led by Erie County Director of Veterans Services Patrick Welch, will inform veterans of benefits to which they are entitled, as well as present special opportunities for veterans that include networking and business start-up programs.
The Veterans Outreach Squad consists of representatives from the Disabled American Veterans, United States Department of Veterans Affairs and 211 Services, as well as the Erie County Office of Veterans Services. In addition to describing opportunities for veterans, the representatives will answer questions from veterans regarding services.
"Our veterans have given much to defend our freedom and our country. It is imperative that veterans be aware of all of the benefits they have earned. This outreach will help to ensure that veterans have access to all of the programs and services to which they are entitled," stated Legislator Ranzenhofer.
The Veterans Outreach Squad will be at the Clarence Public Library on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The library is located at 3 Town Place in Clarence. All veterans and their families are welcome to attend. To R.S.V.P. for this event, please call Legislator Michael Ranzenhofer's office at 631-8695 or email at ranzenhofer@erie.gov.
