Erie County Legislator Michael H. Ranzenhofer (R-Clarence) announced that he will sponsor two upcoming Veterans Outreaches at the following locations:

• Monday, May 17 at the Clearfield Library, 770 Hopkins Road, Amherst, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
• Tuesday, May 18 at the Newstead Library, 31 Main Street, Akron, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.

“Each year, I invite the Erie County Department of Veterans Services to make a presentation to veterans in our community,” said Ranzenhofer. “Since the information is so important to our veterans, and getting downtown can be difficult, this year, the Department has been kind enough to schedule two outreaches for residents of the Northeast portion of Erie County.”

Representatives from the Erie County Department of Veterans Services will be on-hand at the events to answer questions and provide information. Veterans will have the opportunity to obtain information on Disability Benefits, Education Benefits, Vocational Rehabilitation, Home Loans, Burial Benefits, Dependents’ and Survivors’ Benefits, Health Care, Life Insurance and a Variety of Counseling Services.
