Walter's Office Announces "Passports on the Move" Day

CLARENCE, AMHERST, AKRON, NEWSTEAD - Raymond W. Walter, Erie County Legislator representing the 4th District, announces he is partnering with the Erie County Clerk's Office to host a passport processing day at his district office, located at 8180 Main Street in Clarence, New York. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until noon.

"This is a great opportunity for community members to take advantage of obtaining passports without waiting in lines. With the border rules being strictly adhered to, I am happy to provide this timely service to the residents in my district," he said.

Applicants must register in advance by calling Walter's office at 631-7650. Necessary forms, a schedule of fees and a list of required documents are available at the office or online at www.erie.gov/clerk. Photo processing will be on site as well for an additional fee of $10 each.
