Erie County Legislator Walter Requests Traffic Study in Clarence

(Clarence, NY) Erie County Legislator Raymond Walter (4th District) has requested a traffic full traffic study for the intersecton of County and Strickler Roads in Clarence. "Although the primary cause of the recent tragic accident has been found to be excessive speed and failure to obey a traffic device, I think that it is appropriate that a study be conducted to see if there are appropriate measures which should be taken which might prevent future tragedies from occurring," stated Legislator Walter.

Legislator Walter requested the study from the Erie County Department of Public Works and also requested that the Clarence Town Board submit a formal request to the county, which is proper procedure before such a study can be conducted.
