| October 1, 2008 | Revenue & Expenditure Estimates to Comptroller from the County Executive |
| October 15, 2008 | Receipt of Budget from County Executive Receipt of Comptroller's Report on Revenue & Expenditure Estimates |
| October 16, 2008 | Special Session to refer budget to Finance, Management & Budget Committee |
| October 22, 2008 | Presentation of Budget to Committee by Budget Director |
| October 27-30, 2008 | Departmental Budget Presentations to Committee |
| November 5, 2008 | Departmental Call-Backs, if necessary |
| November 12, 2008 | Public Hearing at 5:00 pm |
| November 24, 2008 | Special Session to Approve 2009 Budget |
| December 1, 2008 | Budget Override (if approved on the 24th) |
| December 2, 2008 | Scheduled Date to Approve 2009 Budget By Charter |
| December 9, 2008 | Budget Override (if approved on 2nd) |
