COUNTY LEGISLATOR KONST ANNOUNCES WATER QUALITY FORUM AT LANCASTER TOWN HALL OCTOBER 2
Erie County Legislator Kathy Konst (D-Lancaster, Elma) is announcing that the Erie County Environmental Management Council and the New York Stormwater Coalition will hold a water quality forum for the Town of Lancaster, Village of Lancaster, Village of Depew and Town of Elma at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 2, at Lancaster Town Hall, 21 Central Avenue, Lancaster.
The forum will target local watersheds and address water quality in neighborhood creeks and rivers. Stormwater discharge issues and opportunities for citizens to get involved in water quality protection activities will also be addressed.
Municipal representatives will be joined by state and county representatives, as well as citizen groups to discuss these issues with the public. Residents will have an opportunity to learn more about their community and to discuss water quality concerns with the speakers. If you swim, fish, wade or simply enjoy the remarkable waterways in our community, please attend the session.
