COUNTY LEGISLATOR TERRANOVA ANNOUNCES SENIOR SERVICES OUTREACH PROGRAM SCHEDULED OCTOBER 30

Erie County Legislator Diane M. Terranova (D-Lancaster, Elma) is announcing that an Erie County Department of Senior Services Connects outreach program will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday, October 30, during the Sardinia Health Fair at the Sardinia Community Center, 2320 Savage Road in Sardinia.

The Connects Program visits neighborhoods, connecting residents age 60 and older and/or their caregivers with information and services. A Senior Services representative will offer information about energy assistance programs, the nutrition program, health insurance questions and care giving issues, and at every Connects location, the Department of Senior Services issues its photo identification card, the Complimentary Card, for ages 65 and older (which entitles holders to reduced Metro bus/rail fares and other vendor discounts).
