COUNTY LEGISLATOR WROBLEWSKI REAPPOINTED CHAIR OF IMPORTANT PUBLIC SAFETY COMMITTEE
Erie County Legislator Timothy M. Wroblewski (D-West Seneca, South Cheektowaga) is pleased that he was recently reappointed the Chair of the Legislature's Public Safety Committee by County Legislature Chair Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda).
This will be the second consecutive year that Legislator Wroblewski will serve as the Public Safety Committee Chair.
"I am pleased to reappoint Legislator Wroblewski as chair of the Public Safety Committee. He has taken the committee to a new level in responsiveness to issues and concerns of professionals and the public," Legislature Chair Marinelli said. "He has even donned emergency equipment and entered the county's live burn building."
"I am honored to receive the support of Legislature Chair Marinelli in her reappointment of me to continue to chair the Public Safety Committee," Legislator Wroblewski said. "I am committed to the law enforcement, fire, emergency and other first-response personnel to provide them the necessary, proper tool to perform their duties as safely as possible, and to protect the citizens of Erie County by training these emergency workers, providing them the best equipment and to make sure county funds are spent as effectively and efficiently as possible."
Legislator Wroblewski was also reappointed to continue serving on the Economic Development Committee, and he plans to use his private sector business experience to help move Erie County forward in development areas.
