Residents invited to bring concerns to Legislator Hardwick during outreach meetings
Erie County Legislator Kevin Hardwick (R-10th District) and members of his staff will meet with residents through an outreach program to discuss issues.
"These outreach programs offer residents an opportunity to bring forward their concerns and talk about them one-on-one with officials," Legislator Hardwick said. "I want residents to know that I am working to represent them but I need to know what they want and need from me as an elected official."
Residents are invited to present any issues they have in the district, which covers Kenmore, Town of Tonawanda, City of Tonawanda, and Grand Island.
Outreach programs will be scheduled at various times and locations within the district, and are the result of the Republican Caucus's decision to close district offices in an effort to save taxpayer dollars. The Republican members and staff are now located downtown in the county building.
"By scheduling these outreach programs we are focusing our efforts on resident needs. We are making ourselves available and taking time to hear from constituents," Legislator Hardwick said.
The following outreach meetings have been planned:
- 9 a.m.- noon Tuesday, March 16, at the Municipal Building, 2219 Delaware Ave., Kenmore
- 9 a.m.- noon Tuesday, March 23, at the Grand Island Senior Center, 3278 Whitehaven Road
- 9 a.m.- noon Thursday, April 8, at the Tonawanda Senior Center, 33 Main St., Tonawanda
Residents can also reach Hardwick at 957-4177 or at Kevin.email@example.com.
