CHAIRPERSON MARINELLI RECEIVES SUSAN B. ANTHONY AWARD
Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) received the Susan B. Anthony Award from the Interclub Council at its luncheon at the Buffalo Niagara Marriott Saturday, February 3.
The award was established in 1955 to recognize women for professional and civic achievements. A graduate of Daemen College and Mount St, Mary Academy, Chairperson Marinelli is the first woman to serve as chair of the Erie County Legislature.

Among those attending the luncheon were: State Supreme Court Justices Sharon S. Townsend, Rose Sconiers, and Frank Caruso; retired State Supreme Court Justice Anne T. Mikol, Erie County Surrogate Court Judge Barbara Howe, Erie County Court Judge Michael Pietruszka, Kenmore Village Justice Tracey Bannister, Erie County Legislators Michele M. Iannello and Kathy Konst, Erie County Legislature Clerk Robert M. Graber, City of Buffalo Associate Justices Debra L. Givens and E. Jeanette Ogden, City of Tonawanda Mayor Ronald J. Pilozzi, Town of Tonawanda Councilwoman Lisa Chimera, Assistant Erie County District Attorney Lisa Block Rodwin, West Seneca Supervisor Paul T. Clark, and former Deputy Erie County Executive James P. Keane.
