LEGISLATURE CHAIRPERSON MARINELLI TO RECEIVE DISTINGUISHED ALUMNA AWARD FROM DAEMEN COLLEGE MARCH 31

Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Tonawanda, Buffalo) will receive the Distinguished Alumna 2006 Award from the Alumni from Rosary Hill College and Daemen College Saturday, March 31, in the Social Room of the Charles J. Wick Campus Center at Daemen College, 4380 Main Street, Amherst.

Legislator Marinelli is a 1985 graduate of Daemen College, and this year’s other award winners are: Margaret M. Quinn Popiolkowski, class of 1973, Outstanding Service to the Community; Dr. Jennifer Gurske de Perio, classes of 1999 and 2002, Graduate of the Last Decade; Thomas P. Koestler, Ph.D, class of 1975, Advancement in Career; DeSales Hattenberger, OSF, Class of 1959, Dedication to the College.

Tickets for the recognition dinner are $35 per person; doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. The presentation of the honors will be conducted immediately after dinner.
