MARINELLI OFFERING COPIES OF REGIONAL BICYCLE ROUTE GUIDE, BUFFALO NIAGARA OFFICIAL VISITORS GUIDE TO RESIDENTS

Erie County Legislature Chair Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) is making copies of the Greater Buffalo-Niagara Regional Transportation Council bicycle route guide and the Buffalo Niagara Convention and Visitors Bureau 2007 official visitors guide available in her district office located at 1701 Hertel Avenue in Buffalo.

"The bicycle route guides display routes through Erie and Niagara County municipalities, indicating by color the condition they are rated, including Delaware Park in Buffalo and areas in Tonawanda," Legislator Marinelli said.

Legislator Marinelli noted the bicycle route guides shows multi-use trails, parks, Canadian bike trails, bicycle shops and repair centers along with listing basic bicycle safety rules, laws and other biking tips, as well as information on the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority's Bikes on Rail Program.

She added that the Buffalo Niagara 2007 official visitors guide highlights such tourism and cultural attractions as Broadway theater at Shea's Performing Arts Center and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.
