COUNTY LEGISLATURE CHAIRPERSON MARINELLI TAPS LEGISLATOR DANIEL KOZUB AS LIAISON TO NEW PUBLIC SAFETY COMMISSION
Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) is announcing that she is appointing County Legislator Daniel M. Kozub (D-Lackawanna), Chairman of the Legislature's Public Safety Committee, to be the Legislature liaison to County Executive Joel Giambra's County-Local Government Public Safety Commission.
Legislator Kozub will report on all information and topics of discussion the Commission raises back to his Legislature colleagues, and will talk to all interested parties and make certain that the information is being shared with all legislators and the general public.
"I appreciate the confidence Chairperson Marinelli has placed in me to handle this important assignment," Legislator Kozub said. "This is an issue in which my knowledge and experience as Chairman of the Public Safety Committee will give me a good base and my status as a freshman legislator will give me a fresh perspective."
