CHAIRPERSON MARINELLI STATES COUNTY LEGISLATURE WILL CLOSELY STUDY COMPTROLLER'S PARKS AUDIT REPORT
Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) announced that the County Legislature will take a long, hard look at the audit on the City of Buffalo Parks operated by Erie County recently released by County Comptroller Mark C. Poloncarz.
"We take Comptroller Poloncarz's audit report very serious He and his staff address some crucial financial and management situations with the parks and parks agreement," Chairperson Marinelli said. "This audit and report will be sent to the Legislature Energy and Environment Committee, which is chaired by Legislator Thomas Loughran, for in-depth follow up discussions.
"We also await the administration's response, as well as from the City of Buffalo and the Buffalo Olmstead Parks Conservancy, so we can take the input from all parties involved to improve the management, financial condition and functioning of the parks in the City of Buffalo and Erie County," Chairperson Marinelli concluded.
