Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) is pleased that County Executive Joel Giambra signed into law today Local Law 7 of 2006, which contained the package of charter revisions unanimously approved by the County Legislature in July.

"I appreciate that the County Executive joined the County Legislature in moving forward these charter revisions, focusing on financial reforms, which will help us continue to positively change the way Erie County conducts business," Chairperson Marinelli said. "We are ready to assist the Erie County Board of Elections in formulating the proper language for this initiative to appear on the ballot in November."
