Erie County Legislature Chairperson Lynn M. Marinelli (D-Buffalo, Tonawanda) is pleased to announce that she was recently appointed to the Erie County Industrial Development Agency (ECIDA) Board of Directors.

"I welcome the opportunity to help formulate economic development in Erie County while serving as a watchdog for taxpayers' interests," Chairperson Marinelli said. "My approach will include linking agencies in a seamless delivery system of jobs and economic development. My work with Erie Community College, and membership on the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board, are ways to make this happen. Overwhelmingly, constituents cite jobs and economic development as the top priority of our region."

The next meeting of the Erie County Industrial Development Agency Board of Directors will be held at 9:15 a.m. Monday, November 13, in the offices of the ECIDA, 275 Oak Street, Buffalo.
