LEGISLATOR REYNOLDS HOSTS CONTROL BOARD, GIAMBRA ADMINISTRATION, COMPTROLLER'S OFFICE AT COMMITTEE MEETING

Erie County Legislator Robert R. Reynolds Jr. (D-Hamburg), chairman of the Legislature's Finance and Management Committee, has invited Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority Chairman Anthony Baynes Jr., Erie County Executive Joel Giambra, County Comptroller Mark Poloncarz and other elected officials to the Finance and Management Committee's 9:30 a.m. Thursday, May 24, meeting.

Several action items clocked in with the County Legislature are on the Finance and Management Committee's agenda and will be discussed at the meeting, in the County Legislature Chambers on the Fourth Floor of 92 Franklin Street, Buffalo.

"The legislators, including those on my committee, are always interested in working with the Erie County Fiscal Stability Authority, the county executive's administration and the Comptrollers office," Legislator Reynolds said. "We need information from each office, and therefore, as committee chair, I and my colleagues are taking the initiative to working with each office on municipal bonds, tax lien sales and other mutual matters."

Other topics of discussion may include the 2007 budget, the administration's four-year plan and refinancing current municipal bonds. The public is welcome to attend the meeting.
