COUNTY LEGISLATOR REYNOLDS ANNOUNCES FREE RABIES CLINIC SCHEDULED AT LAKESHORE FIRE HALL SEPTEMBER 3

Erie County Legislator Robert B. Reynolds Jr. (D-Hamburg, Evans) is announcing that the Erie County Department of Health, in association with the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and the Erie County SPCA, will hold a free rabies clinic from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, September 3, at the Lakeshore Fire Hall, S-4591 Lakeshore Road in Lakeshore.

Pets must be at least age three months to receive a rabies vaccination. Proof of previous rabies vaccination must be provided to receive a three-year certificate; otherwise, a one-year certificate will be issued. All dogs, cats, and ferrets must be restrained using a leash and/or pet carrier, and no person shall be allowed to have more than three pets in line at one time.
