REYNOLDS ANNOUNCES ERIE COUNTY SENIOR SERVICES "CONNECTS" PROGRAM TO BE HELD AT BOSTON SENIOR CENTER SEPTEMBER 17

Erie County Legislator Robert B. Reynolds (D-Hamburg, Evans) is announcing an Erie County Department of Senior Services "Connects" Outreach Program will be held from 1-4 p.m. Wednesday, September 17, at the Boston Senior Center, 8500 Boston State Road on Boston.

The program is for residents age 60 and older and/or their caregivers, and information and services will be available. A Department of Senior Services representative will offer information about energy assistance programs, care giving issues, and at every Connects location, department staffers will issue their photo identification cards, the 62+ Card and the Complimentary Card for those age 65 and older (entitled to reduced Metro bus/fares and other vendor discounts.) Legislator Reynolds noted that this outreach site will also include a case manager from the Erie County Department of Senior Services and these organizations: Catholic Health Systems, Erie County Veterans Services, Veterans Benefits, WNY Osteoporosis and the Wise & Wellness Program.
