REYNOLDS ANNOUNCES FREE RABIES CLINIC
Erie County Legislator Bob Reynolds (D-12) today announced the scheduling of a free rabies clinic in the Town of Brant. The clinic will be held Wednesday, September 6, from 5 to 7 pm at the Brant Fire Hall, 1231 Brant–Farnham Road (RT. 249).
"This clinic is free and open to the public," Reynolds stated. "So I encourage all District 12 constituents to take advantage of this service and protect their special pets who are such an important part of their lives."
The clinic is sponsored by the Erie County Department of Health, in cooperation with the Niagara Frontier Veterinary Society and the Erie County SPCA. To receive free rabies vaccinations the following conditions must be met:
1. Pets must be at least three months of age.
2. Proof of previous rabies vaccination must be provided to receive a three-year
certificate, otherwise a one-year certificate will be issued.
3. All dogs, cats, and ferrets must be restrained using a leash and/or pet carrier.
4. No person shall be allowed to have more than three pets in line at one time
