COUNTY LEGISLATOR REYNOLDS, LEGISLATURE HONOR 4-H CLUB MEMBERS, STAFF WITH PROCLAMATION

Erie County Legislator Robert B. Reynolds Jr. (D-Hamburg, Lake Shore) and the Erie County Legislature honored members of several Southtowns 4-H groups with a proclamation for their service during the September 27 session.

Among the students present were 4-H Teen Council President Michelle Andolina,16, who is a member of the Lawtons Progressors 4-H and the Erie County representative to Capital Days in Albany. Andolina also recently represented Erie County at the New York State Public Presentation Competition at Cornell University. Ethan Koss, 17, of the Smiling Shamrocks 4-H Club and Matthew Malican, 16 of the Aurora Explorers 4-H Club are alternates to Capital Days and active in county events.

Another student attending the proclamation presentation was Emilee Koss, 14, of the Smiling Shamrocks 4-H Club. She was one of the purple rosette recipients for a first-place award at the New York State Fair this year and wore her three-piece outfit which won her the award.

Richard Tindell serves as the executive director of the Cornell Cooperative Extension, and the other 4-H staff includes Angela Northern, Tammi Kron and Shirley Tulowiecki.
