COUNTY LEGISLATOR REYNOLDS ANNOUNCES SENIOR SERVICES OUTREACH PROGRAM SCHEDULED OCTOBER 23

Erie County Legislator Robert B. Reynolds Jr. (D-Hamburg, Evans) is announcing that an Erie County Department of Senior Services Connects outreach program will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, October 23, at Community Concern, 6722 Erie Road in Derby (Evans).

The Connects Program visits neighborhoods, connecting residents age 60 and older and/or their caregivers with information and services. A Senior Services representative will offer information about energy assistance programs, the nutrition program, health insurance questions and care giving issues, and at every Connects location, the Department of Senior Services issues its photo identification card, the Complimentary Card, for ages 65 and older (which entitles holders to reduced Metro bus/rail fares and other vendor discounts).
