COUNTY LEGISLATURE SCHEDULES PUBLIC BUDGET HEARINGS TO ADDRESS 2010 COUNTY SPENDING PROPOSAL
The Erie County Legislature Finance, Management and Budget Committee will start its public budget hearings on the proposed 2010 county executive's spending plan with a presentation on the budget from County Budget Director Gregory Gach from 10 a.m.-noon Monday, October 26. All budget hearings and presentations are open to the public and will be held in the County Legislature Chambers on the Fourth Floor of 92 Franklin Street in Buffalo.
The hearings will be conducted by the County Legislature's Finance, Management and Budget Committee, under its chair, Legislator Robert B. Reynolds Jr. The committee is made up of: Reynolds, Legislature Majority Leader Maria R. Whyte, vice chair; Legislators Diane M. Terranova, Betty Jean Grant, Timothy M. Wroblewski; Legislature Chair Lynn M. Marinelli, as ex-officio member; Legislature Minority Leader John Mills and Legislator Raymond Walter.
